over the years we have been fortunate enough to shoot weddings from japan to london, as well as work for commercial clients such as the Apple, Canon, Callaway, NFL, IBM, and Tiffen. we believe that a list of accolades tells you much less about what we offer than the impact that our films have on you can. to that end, we decided to forgo that list and instead direct you to our cinema gallery, our website, or our blog. this is the place to find all of the educational events that we will be hosting or be a part of.

discover the building blocks of meaningful storytelling at our 2-day photography workshop.

over the 2 days, we will:

• make purposeful decisions in lens choice, lighting, and other photography ingredients

• become inspired by things we'd normally overlook

• discover the many tools behind the keyboard that transform the energy in our images

• learn why trust is the best catalyst between us and our business goals

• find refreshing differences in things that appear the same

• combine everything into one powerful approach to storytelling

we will be discussing the "hows of photography, and exploring various techniques and paths to creating a meaningful story. but we believe that once the "hows" have become second nature, it is the "whys" that are the most powerful questions we can ask.

we are limiting attendance to 12 photographers, much like we limit the number of couples and clients we work with every year, so that we can provide better attention and a better experience overall.

stillmotion will be providing organic breakfast and lunches during the workshop and will be hosting an evening of hors d'oeuvres on april 11th and a closing dinner on the 13th. we will be recommending a hotel nearby for out-of-towners and arranging for a group rate.
